Research is conducted across commercial databases as well as the library catalogue to retrieve information requested by clients.

Current Awareness Services

A profile is created according to users' requirements in both commercial databases and on the library catalogue to alert clients to new research in their fields.

Monthly Bulletin

Electronic and paper copy journals are read and articles relevant to the mining industry are selected and included in the catalogue. A bulletin of these newly added items is compiled monthly according to broad subject headings.

Books and Conference Proceedings

Books and conference proceedings are available for loan from the library collection.

Journal Articles and Conference Papers

Copies can be requested from the library.

Inter-Library Loans

Any article or conference paper that is not in the library collection can be requested nationally via the inter-library loans network.

The cost of inter-library loans will be for the client’s account.

Ordering of Books and Standards

The Technical Library will place orders for any books or standards not available in our collection. The cost of the item as well as a small handling fee will be for the client’s account.

Cataloguing Services and Document Management

Cataloguing and management of collections can be arranged as a separate service.
